FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Kahnawà:ke (Onerahtohkó:wa/ May 5th, 2025)
Kahnawà:ke Tourism will host the tenth (10th) annual Strawberry Food Fest throughout the month of June. The Strawberry Food Fest is a collective event, where the theme of strawberries and culinary creations is promoted throughout the community. Get ready to indulge in the rich and delicious flavors of strawberries! The highly anticipated Strawberry Food Fest is where participating businesses will showcase special strawberry-infused dishes, highlighting the versatility and sweetness of Strawberries. As part of the festivities, participating businesses will craft and feature one exclusive strawberry-themed food or drink item, available for this limited time.
The celebration will culminate in a Strawberry Fest on Saturday, June 14th, 2025, hosted at the Golden Age Club (outdoor event), bringing the community together for a day of family-friendly activities, entertainment, artisan vendors, and of course, plenty of strawberry delights. “Strawberry season is a cherished time of year, and this festival allows us to celebrate local businesses, food artisans, and the cultural significance of strawberries,” said Melina. “We invite everyone to come out, explore, and enjoy the many delicious ways strawberries can be enjoyed.”
Kahnawà:ke Tourism is encouraging local businesses and restaurants to participate in the upcoming Strawberry Food Fest by calling 450-635-2929 or email melina.singh@kahnawaketourism.com.
The Food Fest is part of our overall tourism strategy and initiatives and this year prizes will be awarded to those who participate in completing our surveys at our participating businesses or at our Strawberry Fest event; your feedback is important!
