Director of Marketing & Tourism

As Director of Marketing & Tourism she is responsible for overseeing the Welcome Center operations and staff management.  She has worked in the capacity of Tourism Development Agent and brings more than 14 years of professional work experience in the capacity of Public Relations and Communications.   Her work experience spans over 35 years in various organizations and businesses inside and outside of the community.

Kimberly Kaniehtenhawe Cross

Tourism Development Manager

Kimberly has developed the tourism offerings since the opening of the center in 2012.  She is instrumental in leading her team and ensuring that the tourism center is well run, organized and staffed to greet the many tourists that walk through the door.  Kimberly’s focus is the development and collective promotion of Kahnawà:ke’s tourism industry.

Bronwyn Kawenahawe Johns

Public Relations Officer

Bronwyn is dedicated to sharing the history, culture, and stories of the Kanien’kehá:ka Nation and the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. Over the past years, she has advanced Kahnawà:ke Tourism through diverse roles, building expertise across community engagement, events, media relations, and market initiatives. Now serving in Public Relations, Bronwyn leverages her passion for connection and cultural education to strengthen Kahnawà:ke’s presence and foster relationships that support its continued growth.

Tours Coordinator

When planning a visit to Kahnawà:ke, Jordan is your go-to for coordinating tours and welcoming guests at the Kahnawà:ke Welcome Center. Beyond her coordination role, Jordan has developed and launched the Ionkhinenrine Youth Cultural Leadership Program, which piloted in summer 2025. This initiative empowers youth to embrace and share Kahnawà:ke’s culture and traditions while building strong leadership skills.
