A Greener Pow Wow

The 29th annual Echoes of a Proud Nation Pow Wow has come and gone, with no shortage of Indian Tacos, Walleye Nuggets or Strawberry juice. The heat was scorching and for what feels like a first in its history there was no rain on either day! One of the biggest progressions in the Pow Wow’s 29th year was the selling of reusable cutlery to reduce the waste of single use plastics, seeing so many attendees walking around with the bright green forks and knives was quite the sight to see.
