29th Annual Echoes of a Proud Nation Pow Wow

This July 13th and 14th, Kahnawake will be hosting the 29th Annual Echoes of a Proud Nation Pow Wow on Kateri Tekakwitha Island. Come out and enjoy some delicious Indigenous food such as bannock, corn soup, buffalo burgers and Indian tacos! If you’re interested in purchasing authentic Indigenous goods there will be vendors selling items such as hand-crafted moccasins, beaded jewelry, and pottery. Do not miss the Inter-tribal dancing and dance competitions. This is a MUST SEE on the pow wow trail!

General admission $8.00; Senior admission $4.00; Children 5 & under get in FREE! This is a drug & alcohol free event. Gates open at 9:00 AM on both days, Grand Entry will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday and 12:00 PM on Sunday. Tickets may be purchased at the Kahnawa:ke Welcome Center on both days, 10:00 am to 3:00 p.m.
